Pyramid Gives Back: The Bus Stop club Inc.

In partnership with Enterprise Mobility Foundation, Pyramid Network Services nominated the Bus Stop Club, Inc as a grant recipient—last Friday, we learned our grant was awarded! Cristine Rodriguez led the charge in this grant proposal and we are incredibly proud of her work and tenacious spirit to make this happen. The Bus Stop Club Inc is a 501(c)(3) #26-4755526 organization that supports children 5 to 15 years of age in the Capital District (Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, and Saratoga Counties) and their families. The mission of Bus Stop Club is to provide support and family memories through encouragement for the siblings of children with serious illness or developmental, physical, or intellectual disabilities.

At our core is our commitment to service—whether in telecom, renewables or our community. Please join us in thanking Cris, Enterprise Mobility Foundation and the Bus Stop Club in all that they do for our Upstate NY community. ”

More on the Bus Stop Club Inc:
At Bus Stop Club, our work with children and families is our top priority. Siblings of children with chronic illnesses are more likely to suffer feelings of anger, jealousy, depression, and anxiety. They are also more likely to do poorly in school, abuse drugs, and suffer from mental illness as adults (Derouin & Jessee, 1996). Bus Stop Club establishes safe opportunities for the children to learn how to express themselves, cope with difficulties at home, and also allows the children to experience fun outings that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to do so due to their siblings' illness or disability.
